Privacy Policy
How WebOrbit LLC collects and uses information when you visit this site or contact us.
Who we are
WebOrbit LLC operates this website. If you have a privacy question, contact shady@weborbitllc.com or call 864-529-4291.
Information you give us
When you send us a message, we receive the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, how you heard about us, topic, and message. If you contact us by phone, email, or WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to share there.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting service may process basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser, and request time, to deliver the site and help protect it. Essential sign-in cookies keep authorized clients and WebOrbit's owner signed in to the private portal or message inbox.
Optional website analytics
If you choose to allow analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand which public pages people visit, which contact options they use, and whether an inquiry or meeting booking is completed. Analytics stays off until you allow it. We use these reports to improve the website; we do not use advertising cookies.
With your analytics permission, this browser tab can keep an approved public landing-page path and social campaign labels for up to 30 minutes. Approved labels help us understand which platform and campaign led to an inquiry. If you send an inquiry or book a meeting, these labels may also be saved with that record for WebOrbit's owner to review. We exclude raw query strings, click identifiers, private page paths, and unrecognized campaign values.
We do not send contact form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, meeting details, private booking links, or portal information to Google Analytics. Google may process technical information needed to provide analytics under its Privacy Policy. You can change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Turning analytics off stops future collection, clears the temporary campaign record, and removes analytics cookies that this site can access; it does not erase reports or business records already collected.
Public website audits
When you request a website audit, we collect your name, email address, and public website URL. Your contact details are saved in a private owner archive, and WebOrbit may contact you about your audit or a request for help. Your name and email are not included in the public report, PDF, report URL, or website analytics. A random private token in this browser tab lets you request a review using the details you already provided; it does not contain your name or email.
We fetch and render the public homepage and check a limited sample of public links. Public reports contain the website URL, observed public content, screenshots, measurements, and recommendations. We do not use your browser's sign-in cookies to run the scan. Anyone with a report link can view the report, so only submit public websites.
Completed public reports are kept for up to 30 days when database storage is available. During a storage outage, a report may only remain available for the current server session; download its PDF to keep a copy. The private owner archive and requests for help are retained as business records separately from the public report. You can contact us to request removal of your personal details.
Meeting bookings and your portal
When you book a meeting, we use your name, email address, chosen time, time zone, any guests, and the notes you provide to arrange and manage it. Our booking service works with Google Calendar to send calendar invitations and create a Google Meet link. Google processes information needed for those services under its own policies. Your private booking link lets you manage your meeting; please keep it private.
For clients who use the portal, we also process account details and project information, such as updates, documents, support conversations, and billing records, to provide the agreed services. Private portal pages and booking management pages do not use our optional website analytics.
How we use information
We use your information to respond to inquiries and support requests, discuss or provide services, keep a record of our conversations, and protect the site from misuse. We do not sell contact form information.
Who may receive information
Our hosting, database, and email providers may process information to operate this website, store records, and deliver messages. Google Calendar and Google Meet support booked meetings, and Google Analytics receives optional website analytics only if you allow it. We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive basic request information such as your IP address. If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, that service processes your communication under its own policies. External websites linked from our work and product pages have their own privacy practices.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry, meeting, and client records for as long as reasonably needed to follow up, provide services, maintain business records, or resolve disputes. Your analytics preference is saved in the browser you used until you change it or clear that browser's storage. You may ask us to review or delete your information by emailing shady@weborbitllc.com; we will respond subject to any legitimate recordkeeping needs.
Security and changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect messages, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as our practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
